Thinking back to her first memories of music, Millie Cotton remembers a childhood soundtracked by 90s rave anthems and that foundation has influenced Millie in blending old and new high-energy selections that never fail to get the room bouncing.

On moving to London to study at Central Saint Martins, Millie found herself living opposite Corsica Studios; she immediately immersed herself into dance culture. Dark, sweaty nights at Plastic People, Corsica, and The Nest were her first proper insight into the world of electronic music.

During a brief period working in fashion and music journalism, which saw Millie interview the likes of Charli XCX and Jorja Smith for NYLON magazine and reporting LFW for Wonderland, Millie landed her first booking - a six-week booking in-store for Nike - and she seamlessly fused together her appreciation of both fashion and music. Since then, Millie has kept dance floors heaving and stereos turned up high, creating euphoric, hands-in-the-air moments.

Millie's interest in carving out a long-lasting DJ career is also focused on nourishing its ecosystem and taking on a ‘pay-it-forward’ attitude. Women in Music podcast is an inclusive platform to elevate female voices in the music industry by sharing acknowledged women's stories. Past guests include Arlo Parks, Sam Divine and Joy Crookes.

This summer will see Millie join Creamfields’ Saturday Arc Main Stage line up alongside Ben Hemsley and Calvin Harris, open up the Nest at El Dorado & late night Main Stage at Leeds festival and closing out Sunrise Arena at Latitude. In-between those, Millie will also being making her Ministry of Sound, Wilderness and Boardmasters debuts in August.
